Commercial Audit & Retrofit Demonstration project
Six Glenwood Springs businesses are participating in the Garfield New Energy Communities Initiative’s 2009 commercial audit and retrofit demonstration project.
The six have received a free energy audit, and will also receive a rebate that will pay for a portion of their energy efficiency retrofits.
Information about the retrofits and the resulting energy savings will be shared as case studies, so other business owners can see the value of investing in energy efficiency.
The program will be expanded countywide in 2010.
