Commercial rebates for solar electric, solar thermal and wind
Solar electric / photovoltaic (PV)
CORE
CORE, the Community Office for Resource Efficiency, is offering rebates for installation of renewable energy systems on commercial properties in its service territory, while funding lasts.
- Glenwood Springs Electric commercial customers (south of Colorado River only): 50 cents per watt for up to 2 kW
- Holy Cross Energy commercial customer within the Roaring Fork Valley: 50 cents per watt for up to 2 kW, in addition to the Holy Cross rebate of $1.50 per watt.
- Xcel Energy commercial customers are not eligible for this rebate. Please visit Xcel's Solar*Rewards program for information on Xcel rebates for commercial installations.

Holy Cross Energy
Holy Cross Energy offers a rebate for installation of solar photovoltaic systems by Holy Cross customers through the WE CARE program (With Efficiency, Conservation And Renewable Energy - we can make a world of difference)
- Rebate: $1 per watt DC capacity for hardware
- Renewable energy credit: $0.50 per watt DC capacity
- Available for systems up to 6 kilowatts of installed capacity, for a maximum rebate (for hardware and RECs) total of $9,000, not to exceed 50% of installed cost.
- Systems must be installed and inspected within 120 days following execution of the rebate pre-application.
- $250 reservation fee
- System must be designed and installed by NABCEP certified contractor

- 30% of total installation cost for a payment of up to $15,000 The rebate amount may be less if local incentives are available.
- Your solar installer must submit a rebate reservation on your behalf.
