Information for insulation contractors

These are exciting times for the industry. Market forces are converging to create an ideal situation for work.
- Residents and businesses want to increase the efficiency and comfort of their properties and they are willing to invest in doing so.
- Utilities, government agencies and non-profits are creating strong partnerships to reduce the upfront costs to property owners for these services, through rebate and tax credit programs.
- Contractors can find the training and support they need through new programs, such as the Garfield Clean Energy Challenge for Business and the Governor’s Energy Office.
Please review the following forms and guidelines so you understand the range of program offers. These offers can be used as a selling point when contacting potential customers. A rebate of 20 to 50 percent combined with the federal tax credit may provide sufficient incentive for homeowners to hire an insulation contractor.
