Please mark your calendar for our Jobs & Money: How to Grow the Economy with Smart Energy workshop on Friday September 23, 2011, 8:30 am-2 pm at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. The workshop will offer information, ideas, and real-world scenarios of how investments in energy efficiency and clean energy can create jobs and save money.
Join with local and regional economic development partners to learn about:
-- the role of energy efficiency in local, state, and national economic recovery;
-- steps we can take to harness economic benefits of smart energy;
-- how our region and state can map the supply chain to maximize manufacturing opportunities;
-- the job creation potential of CNG as a transportation fuel; and
-- how to maximize opportunities, create an action plan for progress.
