How to adopt the Garfield Energy Efficiency
and Economic Development Goals Resolution

Join the local government partners ofGarfield Clean Energy and adopt the Garfield Energy Efficiency and Economic Development Goals resolution.

Your organization, and the building your organization operates in, can join in the effort to achieve energy efficiency and build a clean energy economy in the region.

How to adopt the resolution:

  1. Read the resolution: online version | printer-friendly PDF
  2. Schedule a discussion of the resolution for your organization's next regular board meeting. Be sure to share copies of the resolution with board members in advance.
  3. Discuss the resolution at the board meeting and take a vote on whether to adopt it.
  4. If your organization votes in favor of adopting the resolution, fill in the blanks on the resolution and send it to the Garfield New Energy Communities Initiative.
