The City of Glenwood Springs Electric Utility and CLEER are also offering new incentives to Glenwood electric customers to go solar. Rebates are available for businesses and homeowners to install solar electric systems on their homes and buildings.

Commercial entities are eligible for rebates of $1.25/watt up to 10 kilowatts; homeowners are eligible for rebates of $1.25/watt up to 6 kilowatts. Rebates will be offered and distributed by CLEER on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information on pre-approval requirements, please contact Maisa Metcalf or 704-9200.

In addition, Glenwood Springs Electric recently shifted unspent funds within the Governor's Energy Office (GEO) to residential PV.
